Jackie Chan’s 100th movie entitled ‘1911’ stars Jackie Chan, Winston Chao and Bingbing Li and is also directed by Jackie Chan with co-director Li Zhang.
Selected to open the 24th Tokyo International Film Festival, this historical drama documents the founding of the Republic of China when nationalist forces led by Sun Yat-sen (played by Winston Chao) overthrew the Qing Dynasty. Jackie plays Huang Xing who was the first army commander-in-chief of the Republic of China.
